Often as students grow older they seek more independence. While helping our children to become healthy, productive and successful adults is our goal, the road isn’t always clear. How can we foster their independence and still stay engaged? How do we have important and meaningful conversations without driving them away?
“Parents Sill Make the Difference” may help provide the answers. Each month VHS receives a new edition of the newsletter with great tips and ideas for parents of high school students. There are suggestions for goal setting, demonstrating respect, getting organized, completing homework, setting limits and much, much more.
Printed copies are always available in the school’s front office and online versions can be found on the home page of our school website. Please take 5-10 minutes to look at some great tips to help your child succeed.
